2016 Domaine Adhèmar et Francis Boudin
As ever the Boudin's Chablis is classically shaped and yet has a bit more weight in the middle and tad more flesh than some neighbours, which makes it just so drinkable. Nice tension on the nose, citrus, mineral, stones, palate is taut with good grip, ripe full acid, mineral, citrus, there is good weight and length which will continue to develop further with time.
A best-selling Chablis and no surprise really that people can see past the rather old-fashioned label and realise what a mighty fine example this is - and great value too.
